We
nothing like the Addams family...We worst.
In
my family there are five children ( I know...tell me about it)
and
a lots of pets. Go to the gallery to read all about them
(the
pets I mean).
The
family includes me as well, Maria.
The
mother to all of the children and the animals.
Don't
confuse me with Maria in "Sound of Music" I'm not that nice.
For
as long as I can remember there always been some kind of animal
in
our family including cats since 1986.
I
started in the late eighties to breed Norweigan Forest Cats,
Soon
I become very curious about Ragdoll. I begun my search in England
after
this beautiful creatures because the Ragdoll hadn't come to Sweden yet.
I
was intrigd by its beauty and the temperament... of course I was right.
In
1990 I made contact with Mrs Sue Ward Smith. A lovely woman who
was
a breeder of Ragdoll under the breeding name Pandapaws.
Sue
become a close friend of mine and I always be grateful for her patience
with all my "beginners questions" about the breed.
In
1991 with her help I brougth in the first breeding male in Sweden.
"Such
fun misty knight".
Since
then there been both ups and downs with our cats. A lots of lovely kittens
has seen the daylight in our home.
We
got a lots of new friends and meet many nice "Catpeople"!
It's
not alway easy to be a breeder in fact it's just the opposit but if you
love
animal and have a great interest in what you doing I promise you...
You
got many days and years of joy and happiness in front of you.
Since 2002 I'm back as a breeder after a short break and I hope to be with you many years to come!
